G'day my name is Lee Bourgeois.   

I started LAB Electronics in 1986 to reverse engineer and recondition BMW electronics, 1991 saw the addition of both Land Rover and Jaguar electronics.   2000 saw the reconditioning of BMW and Jaguar electronics cease in order to concentrate exclusively on Land Rover.  Since 2005 reconditioning has all but ceased to concentrate more of my time to manufacturing.

The last fifteen years have seen the development and manufacture of a number of first generation test units for Land Rover cruise control and air suspension systems.  In the last six years this has led to the development and patenting of ROVAIR, a manual control unit for the owner/driver to use with their Range Rover air suspension systems.  Recently developed is PulseShunt, a trailer module for the Discovery III and Range Rover Sport so that trailers with LED lighting can be used.  Soon to be under development is the second generation of test equipment for the Land Rover Cruise Control and a replacement for the air suspension Valve Block in Range Rovers. 

LAB Electronics Pty Ltd is a micro-manufacturer - there is only me, myself and I - to do everything.  My wife Jane is a non-executive director.

I am a licensed automotive electrician with over forty years of experience both in electronics, and in the automotive industry.  I have been a member of the Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers for over twenty two years.
